For the first 8 years of this event, I was the co-chair, working hand-in-hand with the Flag City Corvette Club. For many years, it was the single largest one day event in Downtown Findlay.

As communications director for United Way of Hancock County, I was honored to oversee numerous community events and fundraisers. The World of Downtown Restaurants tour was one of my favorite events. It showcased the true community spirit, while also celebrating the diversity of our downtown restaurants.

Findlay’s bicentennial

One of my career highs was co-chairing the community-wide, year-long celebration of Findlay’s Bicentennial. We worked with hundreds of community members to celebrate with a choir concert, parade, downtown fireworks, family event and gala.
